Handcrafted Deserves More Than Admiration

Shop American Handcrafted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Jacqueline Adamany to help independent American artists build stronger, more sustainable businesses.

Talented artists can create exceptional work and still need practical support with pricing, presentation, wholesale readiness, reaching buyers, and planning for growth. Artists should not have to navigate all of that alone.

Through education, advocacy, visibility, and access to opportunity, Shop American Handcrafted is working to give artists practical ways to move their businesses forward.

We also believe consumers play an important role. Every handcrafted piece carries skill, creativity, and a human story. Helping people recognize that value strengthens artists, independent retailers, local communities, and the future of American handcrafted.

Our Areas of Focus

01

Education and Business Development

Practical education can help artists price their work with confidence, improve how they present their collections, explore wholesale, reach the right buyers, and make stronger business decisions.

02

Visibility and Access to Opportunity

Artists need meaningful ways to be seen and opportunities that can help their businesses grow. We seek to create and support opportunities for greater visibility, professional development, and new paths forward.

03

Advocacy for American Handcrafted

We help people understand the skill, value, and creative origin behind handcrafted work while encouraging consumers and retailers to choose authentic American-made artistry.
