Shop American Handcrafted is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the organization's charitable mission, financial stewardship, and long-term direction. Board members serve without compensation.
President
Alycia has been the owner of a creative business for more than 20 years. Her experience as a self-employed business owner gives her a firsthand understanding of the opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges involved in building a sustainable creative career.
Treasurer
Joe serves as volunteer Treasurer for Shop American Handcrafted. A skilled woodworker with a deep appreciation for the arts, he understands the care and dedication that go into creating by hand. He brings that perspective to the board, supporting our mission to help American artists grow through education, visibility, and opportunity.
Secretary
Beth spent more than 15 years supporting artists and independent retailers as a member of the IndieMe team. She brings a wealth of handcrafted-industry knowledge and a practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges creative business owners face. Beth continues to volunteer as an artist mentor, sharing guidance and encouragement with artists working to strengthen their businesses.
Founder & Executive Director
Jacqueline is a former handcrafted artist and longtime advocate for independent creative businesses. She has spent decades helping artists strengthen their businesses, reach qualified buyers, and find meaningful opportunities. Jacqueline is also the owner and president of IndieMe Marketplace, which she purchased in 2020.
Volunteer Director of Development
Jessica volunteers her time to support the growth, outreach, and relationship-building efforts of Shop American Handcrafted. She brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to developing partnerships, exploring future programs, and strengthening the organization's community impact.
